Prayers for Jaxon

It has been a tough week for our family and an even tougher week for my BIL and SIL. I don't think I ever did a post on my new nephew. I have been slacking a lot lately.

I did post about our weekend with him here.

This is my sweet nephew, Jaxon, he just turned three weeks old.

He is currently in NICU and needs lots of prayers.

If you would please keep baby Jaxon in your prayers.

Our family really would appreciate it.

Christmas Day 2012

I guess our kids were very good this year.  Christmas morning we woke up and Santa visited our house.  The kids got way to much stuff and I just got through sorting and putting it up a couple of weekends ago.

This two were very excited to see what Santa had brought them.  We had been talking about Santa for months so this little boy was so excited.

After we looked through our Santa goodies we played for a bit, ate some breakfast, and then got dressed and went to Adam's parents for lunch.  We had lunch and then had our gift exchange. Everyone had fun. It was a nice relaxing day. After our exchanged we were lazy and didn't do anything. It was nice not having to rush and go to another Christmas.

We all had a great Christmas!

Three Day Weekend

I started my weekend with a girls night. Us girls in the family have been meeting for a year now! We met up for Mexican food and drinks. It was a nice start to my long weekend.

Saturday we got up early and we did some shopping for my sisters wedding! Now that I think about it we never posted about the engagement party we had for them! I will have to be sure and get that posted before the big day! It will be here before we know it!
This little girl got to tag along!

We met up with our aunt and cousins for lunch and got to see this little cutie!
He is getting so big. Him and Parker are going to be the same age difference as Ace and Lillie. So, Dawson and Parker will have lots of fun together!

Look at that chocolate face!

After lunch we went by a jewelry store and Heather found jewelry for her bridesmaids. I left the store with some new bling! I saw this and thought it was so cute!

We then went shoe shopping and Heather found shoes for her big day. They are perfect! She also helped me find a pair to wear with my dress. While we were shopping my family was enjoying the pretty weather at the playground.

Sunday we had a very lazy day and laid around all day. We ended up making cupcakes. This little boy loves to help!

Monday I was off work and the kids were out of school. We stayed at home all day and I cleaned out closets. It was not really fun but it had to be done! I finally got everyone's Christmas stuff put up. Yeah, I know it took me long enough.

It was a great long weekend!

Christmas Eve 2012

This year we decided to try and really enjoy our time together and not spent it worrying about running to one place to another. So, Christmas eve we went to my parents and Christmas day to Adams parents. It was sad missing out on two Christmas gatherings but it was much easier and more enjoyable to just take it easy.

I made these cute reindeer cookies thanks to Pinterest.
I tried to get a pic of my kids together but this is the best I could do.

Christmas eve we headed to my parents and had Christmas with my mom’s side of  the family. We had tons of finger food and sweets. We sat around and visited most of the day.

How cute are these two!!??

 And this little one!??
The kids had a gift exchange. It is so fun to watch them open their gifts.

The adults did a chinese gift exchange. We did it a little different these year. We usually draw numbers and then number one goes first and so on. This year we put our names into a cup and one person would draw a name and that person picked a gift and then another name was draw and so on. It was fun because we never knew who would be next.
We once again had a great Christmas Eve with the family!

Christmas with the parents

The Saturday before Christmas we went to my mom and dad’s had Christmas with them. We do this every year and it is the start to our Christmas celebrations. This year my mom had soups and all the fixings. We had bake potato soup, chili, and taco soup. It was good! The kids enjoyed grilled cheese.

This year these two had so much fun together. They played together all night.
Here they are trying to sneak a cookie.
We all had a great time. This year Ace and Lillie wasnted to help everyone open their gifts. They are too funny!

Here are a few pics from the night.

It was another great Christmas with our parents!
