Ace turns TWO!!

So, yeah I feel like I am so behind on blogging. I have a list of post I need to do and hopefully I will get to them all soon. So, our baby boy turned TWO on September 28th and he wanted a Mickey Mouse birthday so Mickey Mouse it was. I posted about all the decor here.

This year we decided to have a small party and to just have it at our house on a Friday night. I think it worked all good for everyone. We had pizza and salad, cookies, cupcakes and ice cream.

Heather got us these cute shirts from Wal Mart the day of the party and they were perfect!

It was funny that almost everyone that at the party had on red, black or grey. Haha!

Aydrie Rose had this pillow case dress from when we went to Disney World a couple of years ago and it was perfect!

We had fun eating and visiting with everyone.

We had some Mickey tattoos.  Some people like them others did not.

We all sang happy birthday to the birthday boy and it is always funny to see their reaction. I think he loved it!

We then opened his gifts and he got lots of neat stuff and lots of Mickey stuff. He loved all of it!!

He got this Mickey jacket and I wanted to try it on him to see if it fit an then he didn’t want to take it off.

Uncle D put together his new ride.

It was a great party!

Thank you everyone who came and celebrated with us!!

Randoms

Yay! It’s Friday!

This past weekend I finally got my got my banner up my mom made for me. Ace Brady was a little disappointed when I took down his birthday stuff a couple of weekends ago. He kept saying “no, my birthday”.

We took our family pictures at Jared and Yaya’s house this past weekend and of course we had to go around and see all the creatures they have out there. Ace loves going out there.

I finally tried the sock bun last week and love it. It is so easy and fun. A perfect hair style for dirty hair. Haha! And a perfect hair style for windy day. It was windy last Sunday when we took our pictures so a sock bun it was…of course it wasn’t as good as the one I did the day before but it worked.

Heather rockin the sock bun this week.

So, this fall I started watching two new shows....like I really needed.  666 Park Avenue and Nashville.  They are pretty good shows.  I just hope they don't get cancelled after the first season like my Pan Am did.

Aydrie Rose brought home this pumpkin from school and Ace thinks it is his. We put it on the mantel and every time he sees it he says my pumpkin.

This weekend we are headed to the deer lease with the boys.  We shall see how that turns out.  We have lots of warm clothes packed because it is finally feeling like fall here but I am sure it will not last too long.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

WIWW

Happy Wednesday!

I can’t believe it is Wednesday all ready. This week is just flying by!

I haven’t had a chance this week to post. We took family pictures on Sunday so any free time I get at night I have been going through pictures and trying to edited them. It takes a lot of time to go through 600 plus pictures and narrow them down. We also took some of my brother and SIL and then I finally did Ace’s two year old pictures too. So, there was a lot of picture taken going on Sunday. Haha! I have been working on my brother and SIL pictures and I am nearly done. I hope they like how they turned out. Heather and I had so much fun taking their pictures.

There were so many picture of this sweet girl is was so hard to pick and choose.

(This is a picture of a picture then instgramed.)

I have kind of gone through ours to pick out the good ones but it is so hard to get three kids to look and smile at the camera at the same time! This is one picture that makes me smile every time I look at it. They make me so happy and they make this mama even happier when I get a cute pic like this.

(Once again pic of a pic then instagramed.)

So, today I am once again linking up to the pleated poppy for WIWW.

I have been loving my cardi's and scarves these days. I could wear them every day and it seems like I do. Wal Mart has some cute scarves at great prices. I try and go and look at them when I am there and pick one up. I am talking $3.88 - $8.00. I think they have some that are more but I have never paid more than $8.00 for mine.

Weekend Fun

This past weekend we started our weekend off at my moms.  We all went over there for dinner and theb sat outside and enjoyed the weather.  The kids had fun and it would have been even better if it was only a little cooler out.

Saturday we got up bright and early and went to watch Austin play tennis.  He had another tennis tournament and he got 1st place! We are all so proud of him. If we would let him he would play tennis all day every day.

Ace loves watching his brother play.

We decided to celebrate his win and went out for lunch.  We had some good mexican food.

Later that day we went back to the tennis center so the boys could play.  Me and Aydrie sat back and just watched.

Trying to get a pic of these two together is so hard these days.  These shirts are their halloween shirts from last year.  I love that they got to wear them again.

They look so different last year.
