On July 4th, we all got up and left the camp site bright and early. Heather had saw on line that Fredericksburg was having parade. This was the only day of the trip were we actually got dressed. It was kind of nice getting dressed and actually going somewhere but I wouldn’t have minded at all if we just had stayed at the lake that day.
We ended up going to Fredericksburg for the day. It was only an hour away so the drive wasn’t bad. We got a good spot and enjoyed the parade and after enjoyed lunch.
After we got done eating lunch we decided to go to Luckenbach. They were having a festival for the holiday and there were bands and lots of people there. We found a seat in the shade and people watched for a bit.
When we got back to the lake that afternoon we decided to change into our swimsuits and got back in the water.
Love this pic...it looks like Ace is chasing this duck. He was only trying to feed it. Ha!
He loved feeding the ducks and playing in the dirt.
Later that night Derek, Chelsea and Lillie arrived.
We enjoyed a good dinner and then watched fire works later that night. We had a great 4th!
