Beach Days

{Day 1} 6/27
Monday we got up bright and early and headed to the beach.  We were all excited to soak up some sun.

If you have ever been to Florida beaches I am sure you have heard of the “june grass”.  Well, we have never experienced it until the first time about three years ago in Destin, Fl.  So, when we arrived in Panama City and saw that the beach water was grassy and green we were a little disappointed.
The locals say it is moves through every year in June and usually stays a week.  Thankfully it was only there for the first day.  So, on our first beach day the water was not that pretty.

Ace seemed to really like the beach and had no problems sitting under the shade playing and napping.

After a couple of hours on the beach we decided to head up to the pool and then to our condo and grab some lunch.  A cold sandwich always taste so much better at the beach.  We enjoyed sandwiches for lunch all week.
After lunch we went back to the beach and pool and then a storm blew through and we decided to call it a day.

We had a good first day.  The rest of the day we spent at the condo not doing much of anything.

{Day 2} 6/28
We woke up bright and early again which was what happened all week long.
We woke up to cloudy skies and after the storm cleared we headed to the beach.  We were all so happy to see that the june grass had moved on and we were able to enjoy the clear crystal blue water the rest of the trip.

Austin and Brennan enjoyed playing in the water on their boards.  The water was perfect for them to surf the waves.  They had so much fun!

Aydrie and Ace enjoyed their second beach day too.

After a long day on the beach and pool we decided to all get dressed and go out to eat.  We all love sea food and always seem to eat plenty of it when we go to the beach.

We went to a buffet with loads and loads of seafood…crab legs, crap cakes, fish, shrimp, cooked all different ways. We all left there stuffed.
I love crab cakes and probably had about five to many!

{Day 3} 6/29
Was the same thing…but we got a late start and decided to pack a lunch and eat at the beach.  We all enjoyed another day at the beach.

Aydrie just loves the water and would cry when she was not in the water. So, we set her up under an umbrella down by the water and she was as happy as could be.

After we were all beached out we headed to the pool once again.
Wednesday night we had a “date night” and Me, Adam, Heather and Jared went out to eat and have a few drinks.  We ended up eating at a place right on the beach.
There was a live band and we set around and had fun talking and people watching.

After there we headed to the Tiki Hut at the condo and then called it a night.
It was a fun night!

Wow...that was long...if you are still reading this...I will be posting more about our vacation tomorrow.
