Happy Halloween

I can't believe this weekend is already over.

We got the kids dressed up tonight and took them to a family Halloween party.

I think this is the cutest MoNkEY I have ever seen!

And the sweetest witch ever!
Aydrie had a fun time playing with her broom but we had a hard time keeping that hat on.

Austin was not to thrilled to be taking pictures tonight so we only got one of him.

Us before we headed out.

Miss Aydrie having a good time.

This is how Ace spent his first Halloween.

While we were out we got to see this cute Buzz Lightyear.

Our Halloween fun lasted about hour and a half.  Adam and I took Aydrie and Ace home and Austin stayed and enjoyed the party for a while. I think he had a good time.

Halloween is already here

I can't believe the end of October is here.  This year is just flying by.  All week we have been dressing up in our Halloween shirts.  Here are a few pics of my little pumpkins showing their Halloween spirit.  Halloween isn't my favorite but I still let the kids have fun.

Today I am going to attempt the mall with three kids. I have been stuck at home all week and I am ready to get out or better yet just get dressed and put on make-up. Adam is working all day so Heather, mom, and us are headed to the mall .

Wish me luck!

One month

Ace Brady you are one month old.

You are wearing newborn diapers and still wearing newborn clothes.  I have started to put you in your 0-3 months clothes because we don't have a big variety of newborn clothes and the 0-3 months just swallow you.  I didn't think you would need newborn clothes but I was wrong.

You were weighed about two weeks ago and you weighed 6lbs 14oz.

You are a good eater when you want to be. We are now giving you 3 1/2 ounces of formula and some times you will eat all of it and other times you will not. When you do eat all of it you will eat every 4 hours.  Some days you have bad days where you don't finish your bottles and we are eating more often. Hopefully we will get on a better schedule.

You are sleeping in our room and will probably be in there for a while.  It is so easy to have you in the same room with us. You are sleeping well in your bassinet.  Sometimes you fall asleep in your newborn lounger and  I let you sleep in it right next to me. You seem to really like it.

We are still working on your sleep patterns. Some days you get your days and nights mixed up and you will wake up for your first feeding at night and stay up for a couple of hours. You prefer to sleep during the day. We need to work on that.

You make the funnest noises when you sleep.

You like your little lamb seat and love your swing.  You like to lay in your newborn lounger.

You do not like tummy time.

You are loving your paci.

We never hear a peep out of you unless you are hungry and some times when you are sleepy you get a little fussy.

We all love you so much and can't imagine our life with out you now!

My talented sister

While we were at my moms one weekend Heather painted my toes for me.  Heather is so good at doing nail designs. She has been doing this for a while now and keeps getting better and better.  I am really lucky she doesn't mind doing mine too.
Thanks Heather!!

She didn't want to turn and look at the camera because she said she didn't have make up on. She is so funny....she looked just fine. So, Austin got a shot of her painting my nails.

And these are my new Halloween toes.  Aren't they cute?
She is so good!!

Here is a pictures of my toes before she painted them this time.  She did this design for me before I went into the hospital to have baby Ace. I wanted my nails to be cute and this is what we came up with.

I will be sure and get pictures of my next nail design and share.
